Ken Katayama

Committee Member, Digital Task Force at Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (USA)

Ken Katayama serves as a Policy Evangelist at Toyota Motor Corporation since June 2021, while also contributing to the Keio University Global Research Institute from May 2018. In addition, Ken is a Keidanren Representative at Business at OECD and a Committee Member of the Digital Task Force at the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, both from January 2022. Participation in the Executive Committee of the British Chamber of Commerce in Japan began in April 2016. Ken is involved with the Nippon Keidanren Cybersecurity Committee since September 2022 and previously served as Vice Chair of the JEITA Data Protection Committee until May 2021. Prior roles include membership in the Keidanren Cybersecurity Committee from April 2017 to May 2021 and a lengthy tenure as Policy Evangelist at Microsoft from May 2007 to May 2021. Ken is an alumnus of Sophia University.

(JAMA) is a non-profit industry association which comprises Japan's fourteen manufacturers of passenger cars, trucks, buses and motorcycles.
