Eugene Loh

Eugene Loh currently serves as Legal Counsel in the New Energy and Power Finance Department I at the Japan Bank for International Cooperation, a position held since May 2024. Prior to this role, Eugene was an Associate at Linklaters from September 2018, specializing in Energy & Infrastructure and Banking, while also completing a secondee placement in Hong Kong. Eugene's legal training included a diverse range of experiences during a trainee solicitor role at Linklaters, with seats in mainstream corporate (private M&A), derivatives and structured products, and banking (corporate & structured lending). Additionally, Eugene participated in a summer vacation scheme at Linklaters in 2016, focusing on derivatives & structured products and investment funds. Eugene holds a degree from the University of Cambridge, obtained between 2014 and 2017, and completed secondary education at Queen Elizabeth's School, Barnet from 2007 to 2014.
