Hiroko Johnson

Hiroko (Coko) Johnson, MBA, currently serves as the Senior Director of Operations at JAPAN HOUSE Los Angeles, where responsibilities include shaping organizational strategies and enhancing operational efficiencies to foster a productive work environment. Prior to this role, Hiroko spent 14 years at Musicians Institute, culminating in the position of Senior Vice President of Corporate Planning, where leadership of a 50+ member cross-functional team was essential for managing a $30M P&L, driving profit growth, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Additional roles at Musicians Institute included Director of Marketing, where the establishment of the inaugural marketing department occurred, and Director of Promotions, responsible for innovative promotional strategies showcasing student talent. Hiroko holds an MBA from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School and a BA in French Literature from Aoyama Gakuin University.
