Nick Woolsey

Nick Woolsey is an experienced professional with a diverse background in business development and product strategy, particularly in the context of Japan. As the Founder of Japan Remotely since March 2025, Nick aims to change perceptions about living costs in Japan. Prior roles include Head of Product Strategy for Hybrid Cloud at Penguin Solutions from June 2020 to March 2025, and Head of Business Development for APAC at Penguin Computing from February 2019 to December 2020, where significant partnership deals were established in Japan. Experience also encompasses a Technical Account Manager position at Pacific Teck Advisors (December 2014 - December 2018) and a year as a salaryman at Eureka Co., LTD (September 2013 - September 2014). Earlier, Nick served as a Coordinator for International Relations in the JET Program (August 2011 - August 2013), demonstrating strong Japanese language skills.
