Yukiko Nagashima

Ms. Nagashima began her career at Recruit Co., Ltd. (current Recruit Holdings Co., Ltd.) in 1985 and after working in recruitment advertising transferred to the personnel department in 1995. There, she headed recruitment and education and launched an internal business school and other programs to promote exchange study among companies in different industries. She transferred to the bridal business in 2002 and grew it into the largest bridal information service business in Japan before being appointed Corporate Executive Officer in 2006. She subsequently was appointed President and Representative Director of Recruit Staffing Co., Ltd. in 2008, where she promoted ''smart work'' that emphasizes per-hour productivity, and promoted work opportunities to enhance employee diversity. She assumed her current role as Audit & Supervisory Board Member, Recruit Holdings Co., Ltd. in June 2016.

Ms. Nagashima has considerable experience in enhancing personnel systems in line with corporate strategy and in business expansion in consideration of customer needs. She was appointed to JT's Board of Directors as an Outside Director in March 2019.

Ms. Nagashima is a graduate of Aoyama Gakuin University's Faculty of Law. She is an accomplished chef, often recreating restaurant dishes at home from memory.
