Steven Vaz, P.E. serves as the Director of MEP Engineering at Jarmel Kizel Architects and Engineers, Inc. since March 2023, overseeing MEP department activities, leading design and analysis of MEP systems, and managing project budgets and schedules. Prior roles include Assistant Director of MEP Engineering, Senior Project Engineer, Project Engineer, and Project Designer at Core States Group, where responsibilities ranged from managing projects and quality control to acting as engineer of record across multiple states. Steven has also worked at A&J Consulting Engineering Services and held a design internship at Capital Contracting & Design. Educationally, Steven holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
