Brendan Weiden

Brendan Weiden has served as a Partner at Jaros, Baum & Bolles since 1989. Mr. Weiden joined the firm in 1979, and he has acted as the Partner-in-Charge or Project Manager on a wide variety of projects, including major financial services institutions, medical centers, museums, and government buildings as well as major upgrades of landmarked buildings, such as Rockefeller Center, the Ford Foundation Building and One Chase Manhattan Plaza.

Mr. Weiden’s experience includes projects for major financial institutions, such as Chase Manhattan Bank, UBS, Paine Webber, and various buildings for JPMorgan Chase and many private investment firms. Mr. Weiden has extensive experience with high-rise speculative office building developers, including Tishman Speyer, Silverstein Properties, Related Companies, Vornado, The Durst Organization, and Boston Properties. He has also provided leadership on JB&B’s work on medical centers, including various buildings for Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, the Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center, North Shore Hospital, and NYU Langone Health. Mr. Weiden led the design of buildings that provide critical public safety functions, such as the NYPD Joint Operations Center, the NYC Public Safety Answering Center II, and the City of New York’s Office of Emergency Management Command Center building.

Mr. Weiden holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Manhattan College and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Stern School of Business at New York University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer. For the last 30 years, he has been a member of the Code Revision and Interpretation Committee for the Fire Alarm Code of New York City.
