Christopher Prochner

Christopher Prochner joined Jaros, Baum & Bolles as a Mechanical Engineer in 1990. He has been a Partner at JB&B since 2005 and has been the leader of the firm’s healthcare division for the past 12 years, growing, developing, and guiding a 50-member team spanning all trades. An HVAC Systems Engineer, he is also in charge of the firm’s plumbing/fire protection and BIM groups. His leadership has enabled JB&B to successfully complete numerous construction projects in areas including office spaces, corporate headquarters, medical facilities, and luxury hotels and resorts.

Mr. Prochner has assisted the firm in completing corporate headquarters projects for premier financial institutions, such as Prudential Securities, Credit Suisse, Bank of America, Citigroup, and Brown Brothers Harriman. He has managed projects for major medical facilities, including MSKCC’s David H. Koch Center for Cancer Care, as well as NYU Langone Health’s Kimmel Pavilion, campus master planning, and infrastructure upgrades. Mr. Prochner’s experience also includes the construction of luxury hotels and resorts such as Baha Mar in Nassau, the Bahamas, and the Westin New York at Times Square.

Mr. Prochner holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Management from the Polytechnic Institute of NYU. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the States of New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, a U.S. Green Building Council LEED Accredited Professional, and an AEE Certified Energy Auditor. Mr. Prochner also serves as co-chair of the New York Building Congress’s Healthcare & Life Sciences Committee.
