Maria Lassila

Maria Lassila is a skilled communications and marketing professional with extensive experience in both communications strategy and the wine industry. Currently serving as a Senior Communications Specialist at Järvenpään kaupunki since August 2021, Maria develops various communication entities, including internal communication efforts. Previously, Maria held the position of Marketing and Communications Manager at Bioviini Oy, where responsibility included creating strategies for brand positioning and visibility. Maria has also contributed to digital marketing initiatives as a consultant for Conceito wines, and gained hands-on experience in wine production through roles as Assistant Winemaker and Vineyard Hand at several esteemed wineries. Maria holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Food Sciences from the University of Helsinki and has studied Viticulture, Oenology, and Economics at Universidad Politécnica de Valencia.
