Pilvi Kallio-Meriläinen

Pilvi Kallio-Meriläinen is an experienced professional in the fields of communication, public relations, and participatory cultural work. Currently serving as an Osallisuuden erityisasiantuntija at Järvenpään kaupunki since August 2019, Pilvi specializes in inclusive methods, social participation, decision-making engagement, co-planning, and fostering vibrant urban culture. Prior roles include Public Communicator at Hollolan kunta and positions in the City of Vantaa, where Pilvi focused on citizen participation and communication strategies. With a strong educational background including a Master's degree in Social Sciences from the University of Tampere, Pilvi has also contributed to the cultural sector as Project Manager and Artistic Director at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, and as Program Coordinator at Rovaniemen teatteri, among other roles in education and public relations.
