Ken Pickering has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and design. Ken began their career in 1978 at Combustion Engineering, where they served as a Tooling Engineer and Machinist until 1982. Following this, they worked at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard as a Marine Technician and Tool Designer in 1982. In 1983, Ken joined Jarvis Cutting Tools as a Chief Product Design Engineer, Facility Engineer, and Tooling Engineer. Throughout their career, Ken has gained valuable skills and knowledge in various aspects of engineering and design.

Ken Pickering attended the UNH Thompson School of Applied Science from 1989 to 1997, earning a Certificate in Advanced CAD. In the same year, they also obtained a Certificate in Advanced CAD from the New Hampshire Vocational Technical College.
