Alex McKenzie

Alex McKenzie has a variety of work experience in the IT field. Alex started their career as a Software Developer at Toltec from February 2011 to August 2013. Then, they joined Mars Technologies (Pty) Ltd as a Software Developer from September 2013 to September 2014. During this time, they developed SAP integrated systems for Volkswagen Group South Africa and provided IT systems support for the Coega Development Corporation. Alex was also involved in a project to migrate applications to new servers. Currently, Alex is working at JAS Worldwide, where they have held various roles since September 2014. Alex started as a Technical Assistant-Software Developer and progressed to roles such as Infrastructure Analyst, Senior Analyst, and Manager, IT Process & Innovation. Currently, they hold the position of Director, IT Process & Innovation.

Alex McKenzie completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from Nelson Mandela University between 2009 and 2012. Prior to that, Alex attended Grey High School from 2004 to 2008. Additionally, Alex has obtained a certification in Introduction to Microsoft Azure Cloud Services from Coursera, with the specific month of completion unknown, in the year 2022.
