Andrew Grant

With over 35 years' architectural experience, Andrew has spent the last 14 of those specialising in education projects at Jasmax. His rich experience has seen him deliver large secondary schools and individual learning blocks that have marked significant moments in the development of learning environments in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Andrew enjoys the challenge of melding the diverse factors that bring about new schools: the physical, social, technical, aesthetic and economic circumstances that all require attention, and the collaborative work to harness the collective knowledge of his team, the broader consultant team and the insights of the client.

Andrew keeps pace with global thinking in the educational design sector by attending LENZ conferences and participating in MOE workshops.

He is committed to environmentally sustainable Design. One of the projects he lead as Project Architect, Ormiston Senior College, achieved the first 5-star NZGBC school design rating in the country.
