Rechel Anderson

Superintendent at Jasper County School District

Rechel Anderson is currently the superintendent of the Jasper County School District. Rechel has previously served as superintendent of the Florence School District 4 and as principal/educator of the Marion County School District in South Carolina.

Ms. Anderson has been an educator for over 20 years. Rechel began their career as a teacher in the Florence School District 4. Rechel later served as principal of a middle school in the Marion County School District. In 2013, they were appointed superintendent of the Florence School District 4.

Ms. Anderson is a strong advocate for public education. Rechel has been a vocal opponent of school voucher programs and has worked to increase funding for schools in their district. Rechel has also worked to improve the quality of education in their district by implementing new curricula and hiring experienced teachers.

Rechel Anderson has a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership and Administration from Gardner-Webb University, a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Gardner-Webb University, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Elementary Education and Teaching from Coker College, and a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Winthrop University.
