Mark Sims has extensive work experience in senior financial and administrative roles. Mark is currently the SVP and Chief Financial Officer at Javits Center, where they have been working since January 2022. Prior to this, they served as the SVP / Chief Information Officer at Javits Center from September 2012 to January 2022. Before joining Javits Center, Mark worked at Mitsui Foods, Inc as the SVP, CFO and Treasurer from May 2008 to October 2012. Mark also held the position of Controller at Temco Service Industries from August 2007 to May 2008, and at CWF from December 2005 to August 2007. Earlier in their career, Mark worked at JCDecaux as a Controller, where they managed day-to-day accounting and reporting and played a key role in implementing budgeting and reporting software. Mark also worked at The Gale Company as a VP and Controller.

Mark Sims earned a Diploma in General studies from Parkside High School in 1984. Mark then attended Salisbury University's Perdue School of Business from 1984 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance. In 1998, Mark pursued further education at Fairleigh Dickinson University, earning an MBA in Management by the year 2000.
