Mohamad H.

Mohamad H. has a diverse work experience, starting with co-founding Jawaker in 2008, where they served as the CEO and played a key role in branding, web development, and marketing. Mohamad successfully introduced a unique advertising model for client companies. In 2017, they became a board member and Head of IT Committee at Capital Bank of Jordan. Mohamad also founded Workspace in the same year.

Prior to these roles, Mohamad co-founded Akhtaboot in 2006 and served as a board member and later as the COO and Head of Product Development until 2014. Mohamad was responsible for setting up the company and its daily workflow management. Mohamad spearheaded the website infrastructure redesign and implemented a customized CRM system for international expansion.

Before Akhtaboot, Mohamad worked at Rasmala Investments as the Vice President of Quantitative Analysis from 2004 to 2006. Mohamad set up and managed fund-of-funds, made portfolio reallocation decisions for clients, and oversaw operational processes.

Additionally, Mohamad worked as a Financial Analyst at Dresdner Kleinwort from 2003 to 2004, where they analyzed companies in the Technology, Media, and Telecom sector. Mohamad conducted valuation analysis, due diligence, and engaged in extensive research.

Mohamad started their career as a Summer Intern at New Star Asset Management in 2002, researching hedge fund markets and performing performance attribution. Mohamad also created an original hedge fund idea. Mohamad also worked as a Summer Intern at Merrill Lynch in 2000, where they assisted in building a client base for the new Amman branch.

Mohamad H. holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a joint MBA/MA in Education from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Mohamad obtained this degree between 2014 and 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Management Science, Finance, and Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which they attended from 1999 to 2003.

Before their university education, Mohamad attended the Amman Baccalaureate School from 1985 to 1999, where they earned their High School degree. Mohamad pursued the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma during their time there. Additionally, Mohamad obtained a certification in Gamification from Coursera Verified Certificates in May 2013.
