Abdel-aal Mantawy

Abdel-aal Mantawy is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and academia. As the CEO and partner of Jawda Engineering Consultants (JEC) since July 2006, Abdel-aal has overseen more than 150 engineering projects in substations, power generation, transmission, and distribution across the Middle East. In addition to this role, Abdel-aal has been a Professor of Electrical Power and Machines at Ain Shams University since January 1997, teaching and supervising graduate and undergraduate courses. Previous academic positions include Associate and Assistant Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals from September 1997 to June 2007, focusing on research areas such as optimization techniques and distributed generation. Abdel-aal holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals and both a Master's and Bachelor's degree from Ain Shams University.
