David Salek, M.D. is an experienced interventional pain physician currently working at JAX Spine & Pain Centers since May 2021, previously holding the same position at Spinal Diagnostics & Regenerative Medicine from August 2018 to May 2021. David completed a Pain Medicine Fellowship and Anesthesiology Residency at Mayo Clinic from July 2013 to June 2018. David also contributed to the Foundation for Anesthesiology Education and Research Fellowship at the University of Chicago Medical Center in 2010, where responsibilities included designing and executing a project on the mechanisms of perioperative vision loss due to ischemic optic neuropathy. David earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
