Dmitry Sokolov has over 14 years of work experience. Dmitry started their career in 2005 as a Project Manager at JSC "RStory", where they were responsible for team and project management, setting up a content processing center, and implanting technology of processing e-paper. In 2007, they moved to JSC "Machaon Group" as an Information Architect, where they were responsible for information architecture and designing of web-based services. In 2009, they joined tourprom.ru as a web developer, where they were responsible for information architecture, designing and developing of web-based services and sites, backend and frontend development. In 2013, they joined IBM as a UX/UI Engineer, where they worked at the STC (Science and Technology Center) IBM Moscow. Dmitry's duties included taking part in the development of a brand new version for The State Hermitage Museum, designing and developing services for cloud, and designing of web based and mobile services. In 2016, they joined PlanetPass as a Product Manager, and also joined Тинькофф Банк as a UX/UI Engineer, where they were responsible for taking part in the creation of a new modern interface for ATM from scratch, interviewing various user groups, creating user stories, and creating wireframes and prototypes. In 2017, they joined QIWI Blockchain Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were responsible for designing and developing services based on blockchain technologies, and creating various types of smart contracts based on business requirements. In 2019, they moved to BURO.Global as a Software Engineer, and in 2020, they joined Ippon Technologies Russia as a Software Engineer. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Jaxel as a Senior Software Engineer.

Dmitry Sokolov received their Master of Science in IT technology from the Moscow Institute of Electronics and Mathematics (Technical University) between 1993 and 1998. Dmitry also holds a Certificate of Completion as a trained Corda Developer from R3, obtained in November 2017, as well as a Galactic Problem-Solver International Space App Challenge from NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration, obtained in April 2015.
