S.D. Chen, Ph.D., PMP has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. They started their career at Philips Design, where they worked as a Sr. Engineer and later as a Development Engineer, focusing on electron gun design and product development. They then moved on to Logitech, where they held multiple positions including Projet Manager/Sr. Project Manager, Unit Manager, Sr. Manager, and finally Director. At Logitech, they led project teams and coordinated with various departments to successfully develop and launch new products. They also worked on Manufacturing Program Management and took part in a company-wide initiative called PLCM. Most recently, they joined Jaybird as the Head of Program Engineering for Headsets and Earbuds. They currently hold the same role at Logitech for Headsets and Earbuds in the Video Collaboration division. Overall, S.D. Chen has extensive experience in program management, product development, and team leadership.

S. D. Chen, Ph.D., PMP earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Physics from Tamkang University. S. D. then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MS) degree in Physics from National Tsing Hua University. Continuing their educational journey, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Physics from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. In addition to their academic achievements, Dr. Chen also obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute in December 2010.
