Jessica Jones

Jessica Jones is an experienced Jazz Education Consultant and Music Teacher with a diverse background in music instruction and performance. Since 2012, Jessica has served as the Middle School Jazz Academy/Brooklyn Director and Teaching Artist at Jazz at Lincoln Center, where the focus has been on developing curriculum and guiding middle school students from Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens in their jazz education. In addition, Jessica has been a Music Teacher at Brooklyn Friends School since 2002, emphasizing creativity and jazz improvisation among children. As a saxophonist since 1981, Jessica has also worked with various musicians globally, showcasing a long-standing commitment to the arts. Educationally, Jessica attained a BFA in Music from LIU Brooklyn between 2001 and 2002.
