Ammar Akhtar

Ammar Akhtar has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Ammar is currently working as the Head of Technology Audits at Jazz, where they are responsible for planning and executing technology and core audit projects. Previously, Ammar was the Regional Manager Network Optimization & Analytics at ZTE Corporation, where they managed stakeholders and suppliers to ensure workflow efficiency. Prior to that, they worked at Nokia as a Network Analytics & Optimization Expert, focusing on providing stable network quality and identifying usage hotspots. Ammar also has extensive experience at Telenor Pakistan, where they held various roles including Assistant Manager Network Analytics & Optimization, Assistant Manager Network Planning & Strategy, RF Specialist, and RF Executive Engineer. In these positions, they managed teams, analyzed data, and developed strategies to improve network performance and meet commercial needs.

Ammar Akhtar completed a Management Development Program (MDP) in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) in 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) degree in Electronics and Communication from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore in the years 2003-2007. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from Telenor in 2011 and various certifications from LinkedIn, Nokia, Skillsoft, Lynda.com, and GEM Learning Pvt Ltd.
