Omar Farooq is an experienced professional in the field of telecommunications, currently serving as Assistant Manager for Radio Access Network Planning at Mobilink since January 2007. Responsibilities include managing various Roll-Out tasks such as BSC and XCDR planning, site activation, and LAC management. Notably, Omar successfully managed the HUAWEI SWAP project, which involved approximately 570 sites, demonstrating expertise in RAN planning. Prior to Mobilink, Omar worked as an Executive Engineer at HAAT Technologies, where responsibilities included designing and implementing an ISP in Sialkot and handling PRI terminations. In terms of education, Omar is pursuing an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the Lahore School of Economics and holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunications from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan.
