Umer Farooq

Umer Farooq has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Umer started their career in 2005 at Mobilink, where they worked as a BSS Deployment Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for implementing and troubleshooting RF issues of new BTSs, BSCs, PCUs, and RxCDRs. Umer also managed field implementation activities performed by vendors and subcontractors and monitored KPIs at various levels. Umer then progressed to the role of Team Lead RF Planning Engineer, where they coordinated with the nationwide core team for roll-out planning and budgeting. Umer designed RF networks and optimized new sites according to regional business plans. Umer also delegated tasks to team members and ensured timely completion. In 2015, Umer joined Jazz as a Manager RAN Planning. Further details about their role in Jazz are not provided.
