Amy Nguyen

Amy (Sainski) Nguyen, Ph.D., currently serves as the Director of Global Value & HEOR for Oncology at Jazz Pharmaceuticals since July 2023. Prior to this role, Nguyen held various leadership positions at Optum, including Senior Director and Therapeutic Lead for Oncology and Clinicogenomics, as well as Director of Oncology Research. Additional experience includes a Senior Project Manager position at ConcertAI, Senior Research Analyst role at IBM Watson Health, and a Health Economics and Pharmacotherapy Outcomes Research Fellowship at the University of Utah College of Pharmacy. Nguyen's early academic experience includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Infectious Disease at Mayo Clinic and a Predoctoral Fellowship under Dr. Andrew Badley, focusing on HIV research. Educationally, Nguyen earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics from Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics from the University of Wisconsin - Parkside.
