Todd Johnson

Todd Johnson, PhD, is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in commercial strategic planning and transformation within the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the Global Head of Commercial Strategic Planning and Transformation and the Head of Transformation Office at Jazz Pharmaceuticals since May 2021, Johnson played a key role in the acquisition of GW Pharmaceuticals, where previous leadership included the position of Head of Corporate Strategy. Earlier experience includes roles at The Boston Consulting Group, where Johnson held positions as Project Leader and Consultant. Johnson's academic credentials feature a PhD in Bioengineering from UC San Diego, along with a Master's degree in the same field. Research contributions include the development of injectable biomaterials to treat cardiovascular diseases and methods for isolating embryonic stem cells during undergraduate studies.
