Christa Meathe

Christa Meathe, MA, SPHR has extensive work experience in the field of Human Resources. Christa is currently the Director of Human Resources at Jazzercise, Inc. and has been in this role since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Islands Restaurants where they held the positions of Director of Human Resources from February 2019 to June 2022, and Senior Human Resources Manager from February 2019 to December 2019. Before joining Islands Restaurants, Christa was the Human Resources Director at Native Floral from October 2016 to February 2019. Christa also worked at JCPenney as a Human Resources Manager from March 2015 to October 2016. Christa's earlier experience includes a long tenure at Sport Chalet where they served as General Manager from February 2006 to February 2015, overseeing store operations and employee relations.

Christa Meathe, MA, SPHR obtained a Master's degree in Human Resources and Employee Relations from Penn State University, from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication at California State University, Fullerton, from 2008 to 2010. Christa also received a General Education degree in Communication and Media Studies from Orange Coast College, from 2005 to 2008. Additionally, Christa obtained a certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from HRCI in 2020. Christa briefly studied Communication and Media Studies at the University of Colorado Boulder in 2004-2005.
