Richard T. Porter

Richard T. Porter is the current Senior Editor at JB Ashtin. Richard has over 15 years of experience in the editing and writing field.

Porter started their career as a Copyeditor/Technical Writer for Pfizer, Inc, the world's largest research-based biomedical and pharmaceutical company. There, they were responsible for assisting the corporate IT department in transitioning 2,300 SOPs to a new LIMS database for the pharmaceutical laboratory and manufacturing departments.

Richard then went on to work as a Freelance Technical Editor for Breen Geoscience Management, Inc, an environmental engineering consultant. In this role, they were responsible for performing all mechanical and substantive editing to reports and other technical documents written by the hydrogeologist, as well as identifying and correcting grammatical inconsistencies and word usage irregularities.

Porter's extensive experience in the editing and writing field makes him the perfect candidate for the Senior Editor position at JB Ashtin.

Richard T. Porter graduated from Butler University with a BA in English and Forensics.
