Peter Caprioli

Peter Caprioli has extensive experience in the transport sector, currently serving as Transport Compliance and Maintenance Officer at JBS Carriers Inc since June 2023. Prior to this role, Peter was retired, focusing on transport law and policy from December 2022 to June 2023. From January 2012 to December 2022, Peter held the position of Director at the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator, overseeing the delivery of a safe and efficient heavy vehicle transport system. Peter has also held several director and managerial roles at the Department of Transport and Main Roads, where responsibilities included representing the department in national forums, establishing stakeholder relationships, and managing vehicle standards and freight strategies.
