Adel Emam

Adel Emam has extensive work experience in the field of operations management. Adel started their career at Americana Foods - National Food Company in 2002, where they worked as an Assistant to the Director of Operations until 2013. Adel then served as the Deputy Director of Operations from 2013 to 2017, and was promoted to the role of Factories Regional Operations Director from 2017 to 2022. In 2020, Adel joined JBS as the Operations Director for MENA region, and later became the Chief Operations Officer for MENA in 2022.

Adel Emam's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Food Science and Technology from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, obtained in 2000. Adel then pursued a Master's degree in Food Microbiology, also from Cairo University, which they completed in 2004. In 2005, they began their Doctoral studies in Veterinary Medicine at Cairo University and earned their Ph.D. in Food Microbiology in 2010. In 2011 and 2012, Adel obtained an Operation Management Certificate from the WU Executive Academy. In 2013, they pursued an Executive MBA in Business/Commerce, General from Alexandria University, and completed it in 2015. Additionally, in 2015 and 2016, they attended Harvard Business School and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA. Currently, Adel is affiliated with the University of Bolton, Academic Centre Ras Al Khaimah as a member of the advisory board starting from 2022.
