Rashida A. Brown

Rashida Brown has worked exclusively with nonprofit organizations for 21 years on improving their use of technology. As an independent consultant, she has played key roles on CRM implementation projects for the Certified Financial Planner Board, The Smithsonian Office of Advancement, The National Trust for Historic Preservation, ACLU, and most recently, the National Geographic Society. Her roles on these projects have ranged from business analysis to business process workflow development, and from end user testing to training curriculum development and SOP documentation.

Prior to consulting, Rashida held various membership, fundraising, and IT roles at organizations such as the American Chiropractic Association, Partnership for Public Service, and the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). She is also experienced in a number of nonprofit CRM systems, including Ellucian, netFORUM, The Raiser’s Edge, and Salesforce.

Rashida is a volunteer teacher in children’s ministries at her church and lives in Hyattsville, MD. She enjoys spending time with her two adult children and three year old grandson.
