Mehmat Oner

Mehmat Oner has worked in the construction industry since 2003. Mehmat began their career at Turner Construction Company as a Project Manager. In 2015, they joined JCB Construction Canada as Director of Projects. In this role, they were responsible for preliminary development and pre-construction activities, including client relations, budgeting, scheduling, final estimating effort, and contract negotiations. Mehmat also oversaw project execution and field personnel, project controls, schedule, and job profitability. Additionally, they were responsible for overseeing both direct and non-labor expenditures while providing financial guidelines to project managers.

Mehmat Oner obtained a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the University of Toronto between 1998 and 2002. Following this, they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Project Management from Centennial College between 2012 and 2014. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications in Health Safety Management from Nibosh.
