Neeraj Vijayan

Neeraj Vijayan is a Lead Design Engineer at JCB, overseeing Mini Excavator Cab Design since August 2023. Previously, at Caterpillar Inc., Neeraj served as Cab Design Team Lead for Surface Rock Drills and Hydraulic Mining Shovels, where notable achievements included leading a team to develop an in-house Electrified Cab that halved system costs and saved $200,000 per machine. Experience encompasses roles such as Senior Cab Design Engineer focused on FOPS Cabin programs and design improvements for various mining equipment, as well as contributions to CNH Industrial in vibratory compactors and L&T Technology Services in skid steer loaders. Neeraj holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University.
