Ulf Gillberg

Head of JCE South America at JCE Group

Ulf Gillberg is the current CIO and Head of Listed Investments at JCE Group. Ulf has over fifteen years of experience in the finance industry, with a focus on corporate finance and M&A.

Gillberg began their career at SEB Enskilda, where they worked as an associate for four years. Ulf then moved to KPMG Corporate Finance, where they worked as a manager for three years. In 2003, they joined Volvo, where they spent seven years as the Director of Corporate Finance. During their time at Volvo, Gillberg was involved in key transactions such as Volvo's public takeover of Nissan Diesel (Japan), acquisition of Lingong Construction Machinery (China), attempted acquisition of Dong Feng (China), formation of Bus JV (India), restructuring of Henlys Group (UK, NA), and divestment of Scania shareholding (Sweden). In addition, they participated in several acquisitions and divestments of individual factories in Thailand, Finland, France, Germany, and Sweden.

Gillberg has extensive international project experience, having worked in countries such as Sweden, Denmark, Finland, USA, UK, Germany, France, Belgium, Japan, China, India, Thailand, Morocco, etc.

Ulf Gillberg has a master's degree in economics, business administration, and German from the University of Gothenburg. Ulf also did an exchange student program in economics and business administration at the University of St. Gallen. Ulf is a certified board member from StyrelseAkademien.
