Steffan Rees

Steffan Rees began their work experience in 2014 as an Optimization Researcher at Wall Colmonoy Ltd (UK). Steffan then joined We Predict in 2015, starting as a Summer Intern and later becoming a Data Scientist. In 2021, they were promoted to Lead Data Scientist at We Predict. In 2022, Steffan Rees joined J.D. Power as their Lead Data Scientist.

Steffan Rees completed their Bachelor's Degree in Maths and its Applications at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd. Steffan then pursued a Master's Degree in High Performance and Scientific Computing at Swansea University from 2014 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Steffan has obtained several certifications. In August 2022, they obtained the Foundations of Decentralized Finance (DeFi) certification from LinkedIn. In July 2022, they obtained certifications in Data Visualization in Python with Dash from LinkedIn and The Ultimate Git Course from Code With Mosh. In June 2022, they acquired a certification in Data Visualizations with Plotly from LinkedIn. In December 2020, they received a certification in APPLICATIONS OF AI FOR PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE from NVIDIA. Prior to that, they completed the TensorFlow in Practice Specialization from Coursera in August 2019 and the Applied Text Mining in Python course from Coursera in January 2019. Steffan also holds edX Honor Code Certificates for Implementing Real-Time Analytics with Hadoop in Azure HDInsight (November 2015) and Querying with Transact-SQL (October 2015).
