Chris Higgins

Chris Higgins is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in the manufacturing and medical device industries. Currently serving as an Operations Specialist and Automation Engineer at JDE Peet's since November 2018, Chris leads a technical team overseeing the critical control network (CCN) and ensures efficient project delivery in a dynamic environment. Previously, as an Electrical Integration Project Engineer, Chris managed projects from initiation to commissioning within the capex team. Prior to JDE Peet's, Chris worked at Owen Mumford Ltd from May 2011 to November 2018, focusing on manufacturing engineering and process improvements, while also overseeing site facilities and maintenance teams in earlier roles. Chris began a career at Mondelēz International as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer from August 2005 to May 2011. Education was completed at North Warwickshire and Hinkley College.
