Dick Whicker

Dick Whicker has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. Dick started their career in 1972 as the Town Manager for the Town of Danville, Indiana, where they oversaw various departments including Public Works, Water Treatment, and Wastewater Treatment. In 1976, they worked as a Project Manager for a commercial metal building contractor at Land Construction Company. In 1978, they founded Whicker & Associates, Inc. and served as the Owner & President, leading the growth of a commercial building construction firm.

In 1994, Whicker joined Galyan's Trading Company as the Director of Construction & Facilities, where they contributed to the expansion of the retail sporting goods chain and was responsible for facilities oversight. Dick continued in this role until 2004 when the company was acquired by Dick's Sporting Goods.

From 2004 to 2008, Whicker worked as the Director of Development for Premier Properties USA, a national real estate development company specializing in retail lifestyle malls. Dick was responsible for all phases of development and construction.

Since 2009, Whicker has been working at JDH Contracting Inc as the Business Development professional. Dick has been instrumental in the company's provision of services in wireless, fiber optics, and civil construction. Dick has also successfully managed major accounts, including Duke Energy, Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, and others.
