Marci M. Clark, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Marci M. currently holds the position of Managing Director, Strategy & Development at JDS Development Group since December 2019. In this role, they develop marketing and communications strategies, collaborates with internal and external teams, and oversees sales and marketing efforts for multi-billion dollar projects.

Prior to this, Marci worked at JDS Development Group as a Development Director from July 2019 to December 2019, and as the Director of Marketing & Communications from December 2014 to June 2019. In these roles, they led communication efforts, authored strategies and messaging hierarchies, and performed archival research for numerous development projects.

In addition to their work in real estate development, Marci has also worked as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Architectural History at Spitzer School of Architecture since August 2021. Marci M. has previous teaching experience as a Graduate Student Instructor at Spitzer School of Architecture, where they taught discussion sections on architectural history.

Marci also has experience in copywriting, research, and strategy as a Copywriter, Researcher, and Strategist at Pandiscio Co. in 2013. Prior to that, they worked as a Marketing Associate at JDS Development Group and Property Markets Group from 2012 to 2013.

Marci M. Clark, Ph.D. obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History from Westminster College, where they studied from 2003 to 2006. Marci M. then pursued their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Art History and Archaeology at Columbia University from 2006 to 2008. Continuing their academic journey, they pursued their Ph.D. in Art History, specializing in Architectural History, at The Graduate Center, City University of New York. Marci completed their doctoral studies from 2008 to 2017.
