Mike Makarenko

Mike is a registered professional mining engineer with over 30 years of operations and engineering experience in both underground and open pit mining in precious & base metals, iron ore, coal, oil sands and diamonds. Mike’s management, operations and engineering experience is based on actual operations and numerous consulting projects worldwide.

Mike also has more than 14 years of consulting experience as a Senior Engineer, Project Manager at Norwest Corporation and as Vice President of Engineering at JDS. Mike has lead project teams in dozens of engineering studies, NI 43-101 reports, operational improvement initiatives and due diligence reviews for projects all over the world.
