Stephen Clayton

Stephen Clayton is an experienced professional in the mining and civil contracting industry, currently serving as the General Manager of the Mine and Civil Contracting Division at JDS Group of Companies since November 2017. Previously, Stephen held multiple managerial roles, including Area Manager for North American Underground Contracting and Project Manager for New Afton Underground Support Services. Stephen's earlier experience includes positions as a Mining Engineer in Training at The De Beers Group of Companies and JDS Energy & Mining, where involvement included mine design, resource evaluation, and construction management. Academic qualifications consist of a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Montana Technological University and an Associate's degree from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
