Vipula Samarakoon

Vipula “Vip” Samarakoon joined the JDX Executive Leadership Team as Head of Asia Pacific in August 2021.

Vip is a Sri Lankan-born Australian who has been based in Singapore for over 17 years. During this time, he has worked with several Fortune 500 companies including JP Morgan Chase where he was Managing Director of Technology for Singapore and APAC Head of End User Computing as well as BNY Mellon where he was Managing Director and the Asia Pacific CTO.

Prior to these executive roles, Vip has held various technology positions from program manager to SAP business analyst and technical support specialist. Most recently Vip has been the co-founder and managing partner at Cerasia Consulting and non-executive director of Qualee Technology, an HR technology firm.

Vip brought with him not only a wealth of experience but also an established local network which is proving instrumental in delivering against the growth targets in the APAC region.
