Bill Kearson

Bill Kearson has a solid background in information security, starting as a Project Manager at Florida Sound Engineering Company where they designed and installed RF and control systems. Bill then moved on to W. W. Gay Fire and Integrated Systems, Inc. where they worked as a Project Manager, designing and installing various security systems. Kearson then transitioned to JEA as the Director of Information Security, overseeing the development and maintenance of cyber security defense strategies.

Bill Kearson completed a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida in 1995. In 2020, they obtained a Master's degree in Cybersecurity (Information Assurance) from Excelsior University. In addition to their formal education, Bill has also earned several certifications in cybersecurity and cloud computing throughout the years.
