Adam Pendley is currently the Manager of Emergency Preparedness at JEA, having transitioned to this role in July 2022. Previously, Adam retired from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office as an Assistant Chief after a 30-year law enforcement career, where responsibilities included command of various units and engagement with city emergency management. Adam holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice from the University of North Florida and a Master of Arts degree in Homeland Security Studies from the Naval Postgraduate School. Additionally, Adam instructs courses in incident command and emergency management through various organizations.
