Katherine Duncan

Katherine Duncan has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Katherine is currently serving as the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships at The Jed Foundation, a position they started in September 2022. Prior to this role, Katherine worked as the Senior Director of Foundation Relations at The Jed Foundation from December 2021 to September 2022, and as the Director of Foundation Relations from September 2018 to December 2021.

Before joining The Jed Foundation, Katherine worked as a Nonprofit Consultant and Volunteer while also fulfilling the role of Primary Caregiver. Katherine'sresponsibilities included providing strategic and fundraising support to organizations such as Succeed2gether and Good Grief, where they facilitated support groups for bereaved children and trained volunteer facilitators. Katherine'stenure as a caregiver and consultant lasted from 2000 to 2018.

Prior to their career in the nonprofit sector, Katherine worked at Security Capital Group as an Associate from 1998 to 2000. Katherine also held roles at the New York City Economic Development Corporation, serving as a Senior Project Manager from 1994 to 1996, and as a Marketing Manager from 1993 to 1994. Katherine's earliest work experience was as an Assistant to the Publisher of Pantheon Books at Random House Publishing Group from 1991 to 1993.

Katherine Duncan obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Anthropology from Macalester College in 1991. Following this, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree at The Wharton School from 1996 to 1998.
