Mafalda Barata

Mafalda Barata has a diverse work experience in the software development field. Mafalda is currently working as a Lead Software Developer at Jedlix - Smart Charging since March 2022. Prior to that, they have worked at FocusCura as a Senior Software Developer from July 2020 to February 2022, where they were responsible for back-end development and maintenance of an IoT solution for communication between devices and 3rd parties. Mafalda also worked on solution architecture and technical specifications for integrating with external parties.

Before joining FocusCura, Mafalda worked at Hexis Technology Hub as a Senior .NET Developer from January 2019 to March 2020, where they were involved in back-end development and maintenance of an e-Commerce solution using .NET framework, C#, MVC, WebAPI, JavaScript, and MongoDB.

Prior to that, they worked at Novabase as a Mid .NET Developer from March 2016 to January 2019. Mafalda'sresponsibilities included functional analysis, requirements gathering, solution architecture, technical specification, team leading, back-end and integration development of a document management solution using .NET framework, C#, WebApi, JWT, ActiveDirectory, ReactJS, Oracle DB, and Oracle WCC.

Mafalda also has experience working at Esri Portugal as a Technical Consultant/Junior Developer from June 2013 to February 2016. Mafalda was involved in analysis and full stack development of a web solution for municipal management using .NET Framework, C#, MVC, Silverlight, HTML5, JavaScript, HTML, XML, REST, and JSON. Mafalda initially joined Esri Portugal as a Trainee Technical Consultant from September 2012 to May 2013.

Additionally, Mafalda had a brief trainee role at Câmara Municipal de Lisboa (City Hall) from May 2012 to August 2012.

Mafalda Barata obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems and Technologies from NOVA IMS Information Management School, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. In addition to their degree, they also earned several certifications, including "Building Web Applications Using the ArcGIS API for Javascript" from Esri Portugal in October 2012, "ArcGIS Desktop II: Tools and Functionality" from Esri Portugal in September 2012, "ArcGIS Desktop III: GIS Workflows and Analysis" from Esri Portugal in September 2012, and "SAP Overview" from SAP Portugal in November 2009.
