Alex Adair, PE

Alex Adair, PE, is a professional engineer with a diverse work experience in mechanical engineering and design. From 2013 to 2014, Alex worked at AME International, where they were involved in creating 3D models and animations for tire changing equipment. Alex then joined GreenbergFarrow as a Mechanical Engineering Designer, from 2014 to 2015, where they focused on mechanical and plumbing design for retail and food service projects.

From 2015 to 2017, Alex worked as a Mechanical Designer I at Kajima Building & Design Group, Inc., where they gained experience in mechanical and plumbing design for industrial manufacturing projects. Alex also utilized software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks in their designs.

In 2017, Alex joined O'Neal, Inc. as a Mechanical Engineer III, specializing in mechanical and plumbing design for industrial manufacturing, including projects for companies such as Duracell and 3M. Alex has been involved in preparing construction drawings, developing specifications, and assessing existing equipment for HVAC, plumbing, and energy systems for new and retrofit industrial plants.

Alex Adair, PE, earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, completing the program from 2010 to 2014. They have obtained various professional certifications throughout their career, including Professional Engineer (PE) licenses from the State of Alabama in March 2022, the State of Illinois in August 2019, and the Georgia Secretary of State in December 2018. Additionally, they acquired the Engineer in Training (EIT) certification from the Georgia Secretary of State in June 2015.
