Jose Hirmas

Jose Hirmas has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Jose is currently working as the Head of Jeff Academy at Jeff since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Actitud Lab from March 2013 to September 2021 as a Partner & Commercial Director. In this role, Jose co-designed the vision and methodology of the company, leading projects and social solutions for over 50 companies and organizations. Jose also worked as an innovation consultant, workshop facilitator, and teacher in educational spaces.

Before Actitud Lab, Jose worked at Centro de Innovación UC Anacleto Angelini from January 2015 to March 2020. Jose held the position of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Methodologist & University Teacher. In this role, they co-designed entrepreneurship methodology for the JUMP Program, the largest university entrepreneurship program in Latin America. Jose also facilitated entrepreneurship workshops for students in Latin America.

In 2012, Jose worked at BOMBACAMP as an Innovation Methodologies Trainee. Their responsibilities included researching innovation methodologies for local entrepreneurs, customer development, and instructing startup courses.

Jose's work experience also includes a marketing trainee role at Rotter & Krauss from September 2010 to November 2010.

Jose Hirmas has an extensive education history. Jose started with secondary education at Santiago College, where they earned their IB Certificate in 2005. Jose then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Ingeniería Comercial at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez from 2006 to 2010. Later on, in 2011, they obtained their Master of Science degree in Innovation & Entrepreneurship, specializing in Ingeniería Comercial, from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez.

In 2012, Jose attended the European Innovation Academy, where they earned an Innovation Diploma. Continuing their educational journey, they enrolled in the University School of Design and Engineering of Barcelona, where they pursued a Master's degree in Design for Emergent Futures from 2021 to 2022. Additionally, during the same period, they also studied for a Master's in Design for Emergent Futures at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
