Hartley Clay is a seasoned investment banking professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Asia-Pacific Energy Investment Banking at Jefferies since June 2017, Hartley Clay has previously held significant roles such as Vice President of M&A and Business Development at Mubadala Petroleum, leading Southeast Asia M&A from 2012 to 2017. Previous positions include roles in commercial development at Talisman Energy, equity research at Simmons & Company International, and financial analysis at BP. Hartley Clay holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Rice University and has also studied at Sophia University.
