Michael Prew

Michael Prew is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in real estate research across several top financial institutions. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Real Estate Research (Europe) at Jefferies LLC since May 2011, Michael has been instrumental in raising over $7 billion for ten REIT clients and has made several significant calls impacting UK REITs, including a notable BUY call in July 2011 resulting in a +100% increase over four years. Previously held the same title at Nomura International plc and Lehman Brothers, achieving high rankings in Institutional Investor Surveys and notable investment successes. Michael's earlier roles include Executive Directorships at Citi and Credit Suisse, where contributions included significant corporate placements and the development of innovative analytical models. Michael holds an MSc from Imperial Business School and a BSc Hons in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London.
