Pekka Johnson is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in business development and institutional equity sales. Currently serving as Managing Director at Jefferies since March 2021, Pekka previously worked as an Independent Consultant and held multiple leadership roles at CLSA from September 2009 to May 2020, including Global Head of Business Development and Chairman of the Board for CLSA Europe B.V. Earlier career positions include Head of Capital Markets at Orient Global (now Clermont), and various institutional equity sales roles at UBS, Deutsche Bank, Kleinwort Benson, and Mercury Asset Management. Pekka holds a BSc Hons in Economics and Statistics from UCL and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certified by the CFA Institute.
